Our Rayobyte review
Most datacenter proxy vendors resell address space they lease from hosting companies. Rayobyte owns a large portion of its own ranges, which gives it direct control over reputation, abuse handling and replacements. In practice that means banned IPs get swapped quickly and ranges are less likely to be poisoned by another customer's behavior.
The company is unusually explicit about ethics for a US proxy vendor: it vets customers, publishes acceptable-use rules and turns away use cases other networks would happily bill. It also runs Scraping Robot, a scraping API with a free tier of five thousand scrapes a month, which is a genuinely useful entry point.
The residential and mobile products are real but not class-leading. Around twenty million residential addresses is small next to Bright Data or Decodo, and per-gigabyte pricing is not competitive until volume rises.
Support is a differentiator. There is a phone number, staffed by people in the same country as the servers, plus chat and account management for larger customers.
The dashboard is workmanlike, the refund window is only two days, and the overall experience is aimed at teams who know what they want rather than newcomers.
Buy Rayobyte for datacenter and ISP proxies where IP reputation matters. Buy elsewhere if residential volume is the main need.

Frequently asked questions
Why does owning IP space matter?
It gives the provider control over abuse handling and reputation. Leased ranges can be poisoned by another customer, and replacements depend on the upstream host cooperating.
Is Rayobyte good for residential proxies?
It is adequate but not class-leading. The pool is smaller and pricing is less competitive than Decodo or IPRoyal at low volume.
What is Scraping Robot?
Rayobyte's scraping API, which handles proxies and parsing for you and includes 5,000 free scrapes a month.

Rayobyte owns much of the datacenter space it sells, which shows up as better replacement policies and cleaner IP reputation. Residential is the weaker half.
